Peasholm Park Cafe - Scarborough

The caffe is beautiful and clean and the staff is very polite.

A cordial greeting, the most perfect roasted egg storm, good value, an iconic one. What is not to love??

Had a nice laugh, but the scones we had were absolutely solid. if they go here, they don't order scones unless they want to break a tooth

Since the change of hands in the last months this once beautiful caffe in the peasholm park is fast downhill. we bought beechoten hot chocolates. I asked about the luxury hot chocolate and was told they won't do it anymore. the scenes were... tasteless with a few pieces obstinate and were so hard the small wood knife delivered snapped when I tried to cut through the scorpse. the hot chocolate was a thin purple water fluid that had hardly tasted of chocolate. we were charged for it when I challenged that I thought I had been overloaded as I was paid with one of the documents, yes I had paid with one but not overloaded. I pointed out that everything I had in my pocket was my phone and my keys, and when there was a waiting queue, I had to leave it because the manager refused to deal with it flatly. I also had a free hot drink voucher, for which the rat Catering Manager has signed, which they refused to honour. the outdoor seating area is now a non-smoking area there are other caffes near peasholm park and I advise them to use this place to avoid rude employees, and overpriced physical drinks

Lots of good food and drink plenty of room indoor and outdoor They say they have wheelchair access but could not see it Lots of seps into and out of the cafe. Clean tidy and helpful WATCH OUT FOR THE SEAGULLS
