Excellent service from a great team..food was lovely, and the place is immaculate. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

My partner and I visited early December. All I can say is the choice of drinks and the different choices on the menu were great. The staff were first class and a glowing reflection on the really helpful and knowledgeable manager, (Scott).

I never wrote these as I cannot be bothered however, after my 3rd reluctant visit with family I was shortly reminded of why o hate the place Drinks : took an age to get served and the same to get them delivered Had to attend the bar as no food order was taken 35m Food order placed 45m into arrival After a total 1h5m the starters arrive Basic order Garlic bread like warm Hummus pitta decent Nachos always ok These were finished within 12 min We then waited another 30 min for the main meals Hunters chicken x2 Overcooked chicken breast with the outside hard Poor Signature burger with onions Arrived well done dry potential rewarm?! Another burger bacon cheese Same 2 x burgers on the edge of burnt no taste left 50% Lasagne not too bad Don’t think it was home made looked like square pasta sheets fitted into a long oval dish Side order haloumi fries Arrived cold Took them back after one bite showing them to staff these were replaced pretty much when the meal finished!! Kids meals not as nice as before 2 x vodka Cranberry Couldn’t taste ant vodka Cheap cranberry juice Other drinks ok Over £127 for something that I wouldn’t feed to my dogs So bad just a reminder to myself once again to never go back Staff lack in situational awareness Never enough staff It wasn’t even busy !! Not once asked if the meals were ok or did u enjoy the meal not during or at the end ! Please ban me from here please

We made a reservation for a family birthday celebration while staying at the lodge. The service was fantastic and all the staff gave us a very warm welcome. We enjoyed pre-drinks next to the open fire. The menu had a great selection, and the Chicken and Chorizo kebabs were delicious. There were also plenty of options for children. The 2 for £12 cocktail offer was a nice bonus and the drinks were enjoyed by all. We were very impressed and will definitely come back again.

When we asked for the dessert menu, it never came, so we had to go to the bar to request one. Unfortunately, the staff member initially dismissed us but eventually brought the dessert menu to our table when we ordered another round of drinks. The desserts were enjoyable, but overall, the customer service was lacking, and it seems like the staff could benefit from some training in this area. When it came time to pay the bill, the waiter mentioned the 30% discount we received with a voucher. I expressed my disappointment with the service, to which the waiter blamed management for cutting hours due to the off-season.
