Princess Fish Chips - Scarborough

Lovely family run fish chip shop just a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal road. My husband had a small portion of haddock chips which was huge and delicious and crispy. Forgot to take a picture… The rest of us had only chips: not soggy at all. We would definitely come back. Just across the street there are benches where you can enjoy your meal with a nice view over the Sea and the bay. Good value for money.

7 of us went in today on the off chance of getting a table, we had various meals, drinks etc served to us by the most charming polite young man, the meal was Hot, Fresh and very filling. Don't let looks deceive you, this is avery pleasant small cafe with first class food.

Don't confuse this with the cafe over the road It is a small fish and chip shop but does the best chips in Scarborough. It's our favourite chip shop and I recommend it to family and friends.

Dropped in here a couple of weeks ago and had haddock and chips. That had to be the best piece of battered fish I've ever had. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not quite up to the 4.5 stars. Fish looked like fried twice and chips old looking. Compared to our local Thompsons of York a million miles away for £15. Can't recommend it at all.
