We didn’t book, but would recommend as the food was fantastic, in fact probably the best carvery that we have had out ever. The staff were so friendly and helpful and will definitely return here to eat when we return. Thank You everyone at the Smugglers Cove.
Popped in with the family. Great place. Food was great, service was great. Would thoroughly recommend
On a short trip to Filey, we ate here. We have eaten here before, and have never been disappointed. The food is great quality, and is served with a very warm welcome. If you’re about on a Sunday make sure you have the carvery, it’s awesome! (Make sure you book! It’s very child friendly so that’s a bonus. We found that most places are closed for food on Mondays nights, so make sure you book at Smuggles cove as it gets busy.
The exterior of this restaurant may not be much to look at, but the food and service inside were delightful. My husband had the steak and I opted for the scampi, both of which were excellent. The staff were attentive and brought drinks to our table promptly. We enjoyed our experience so much that we made a reservation for Sunday dinner, which turned out to be just as fabulous. The separate bar area was a nice touch, and we found the prices to be very reasonable. The entertainment was top-notch and even the owner took the time to chat with us and make us feel welcome.
The food at this quirky pub and restaurant is great with a menu offering good choices. Filey doesn't have many options for pub grub, but this place is the best. The food tastes like a home-cooked meal. We tried their Sunday Carvery and loved it so much that we came back during the week.
