Wow what a little gem,wanted a roast beef but was given a menu that didn’t have that on although they did serve them,so opted for escalopes of beef fillet was out of this world it really was, would highly recommend

This restaurant is incredible – the staff is very friendly and the food is out of this world. We were grateful for the opportunity to park our campervan in the car park. We will definitely return in the future.

I really appreciate this restaurant's use of local ingredients and homemade dishes. The menu sounded amazing, but in reality, we found our meals to be a bit lackluster. I ordered the local lamb, and while the mash and gravy were delicious, the standout item on the plate was actually a slice of black pudding. The lamb itself was small, overcooked, and lacking in flavor. My husband chose the sirloin steak, but it was disappointingly chewy. The sides of chips, salad, and onion rings were unimpressive, tasting of old oil. The ambiance and service were lovely, but overall we left feeling underwhelmed and overcharged. I'm giving this restaurant four stars because while some aspects were excellent, others were average at best.

This little country pub is amazing location, quality of food, service, value I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Nice country pub. Bar man friendly and professional. The beer and the food is good the escalope of beef was delicious. Dissapointingly the white chocolate brulee proved not to be the classic set custard, flavoured with white chocolate. Having more than a passing resemblance in taste and appearance to tinned custard topped with caramalised sugar.
