Three Jolly Sailors - Scarborough

I visited this restaurant on a busy Friday night and was greeted with exceptional Yorkshire hospitality. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning.

The customer service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, the meal was even worse. After being seated, we waited for service that never arrived. After ten minutes, we had to flag down a staff member to ask for a menu, only to find out we were supposed to retrieve it ourselves from the bar. The food came out quickly, but it was not tasty. My lasagne was dry and bland, lacking any Béchamel sauce. Even the side salad was starting to wilt. When we paid, the owner didn't bother to ask about our experience, indicating they were aware of the subpar meal and service. We typically tip at least 10%, but this time we left no tip, except for most of our uneaten meal. We definitely won't be returning. What a disappointment.

We we’re staying in the area and popped in for a few drinks and something to eat. The ribeye steak was lovely, and the chips were amazing. Everything cooked to perfection. Very busy but didn’t have long to wait at all. Took a chocolate and orange gateau away. That wasn’t a gateau, it was like orange sponge but it was really nice.

We have visited here a few times now, we are local and its great to go somewhere nice to eat.Never had a bad meal here and food is always tasty and yummy even better when they have the Apple crumble for a dessert.Staff are also friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic food proper pub grub. Not a massive veggie choice but the pasta bake was lovely. Friendly team and nice atmosphere.
