El Rayo Taqueria - Scarborough

Delicious! Taco Tuesday is a fantastic deal at just $3 per taco, allowing you to mix and match and try several for a great price. The jalapeños were incredibly flavorful, and not overly spicy, which I really appreciated. The Mexican corn on the cob was definitely one of my favorite dishes!

This restaurant offers a casual counter ordering experience with a fun and quirky decor. It's a step above the usual American-Mexican fare! They have a great selection of vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. I particularly enjoyed the unique options, like the Chilean pineapple. I always love exploring local spots while on vacation!

Excellent fish tacos... can be expensive so you can see their specialties. The Mexican corn is wonderful.

Great food, drinks, and service! The flavors reminded me of the Portland El Rayo. The food arrived promptly as well! I don’t understand the complaints I've heard. I'm really happy they opened a location here in Scarborough!

Good food, I like the style of the restaurant without waiters/waitresses. It was almost like a fast food setup but with a bar and higher quality food. I will definitely go back if I'm in the area!
