The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with ample space between tables. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the patio.
I wish there was a placemat on the wrought iron table and cloth napkins at this restaurant. The rice was a bit dry, and the vegetables were undercooked, but the salmon was delicious. The dessert was also fantastic. The waiter was very attentive, and we were able to enjoy a nice 2-hour meal without feeling rushed, all while taking in the lovely view.
While we were sorry to see the Dogfish Pub has closed, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the Bluffers Restaurant, upstairs, has an even better view. As far as I know, this is the only place in the whole darn town where you can enjoy a meal and a drink and gaze out over the lake. A real treasure. Free parking, great staff, what's not to like?
It was the restaurants last day for dinner, underoccupied, had hardly any food on the menu to offer guests. I guess I chose the wrong day.
