I highly recommend this option if you're looking for a great variety of beef and pork. The sides that accompanied the meal complemented everything beautifully. I also suggest ordering a side of lettuce to wrap the meats and sides together. On a humorous note, I accidentally dropped my credit card into the grease trap in the middle of our table. Our waitress was incredibly kind and went out of her way to retrieve it. She had to take apart the grill and dig around to find it. She truly went above and beyond for us. I wholeheartedly recommend 92 Town for delicious and authentic Korean BBQ, paired with fantastic service. If you’ve never tried Korean BBQ before, this is the perfect place to start, as the staff is ready to assist and guide you. My parents are visiting next week, and I can't wait to bring them here for their special anniversary celebration. Thank you, 92 Town! I look forward to returning!
They have an absolutely ridiculous policy where however many people you come in with, you have to get that many servings/orders of food. It?s ridiculous because we came in with 10 people, so we had to get 10 servings of food. The problem with that ishalf of us were kids and there?s no way we would all be able to finish the food. I knew we would end up wasting that expensivefood. We asked the server if she could place our order in the computer first, but she declined and said that we needed to order10 items first. If we had ordered some food first, we could?ve seen what we liked and ordered more of it. Like, I just don?tunderstand why she couldn?t put a couple of items in the comp first. There?s also this thing where you have to press a buttonfor the server. We pressed it so many times but the server took forever to get to our table, it wasn?t even crowded! Later, weasked for water from our server but she didn?t even give it to us. We ended up storming out because of the poor service theygave us.
If you come across a negative review, take it seriously and don’t make the same mistake we did. We saw the one-star ratings but chose to visit this restaurant anyway, hoping for a nostalgic experience from our previous visits. The positives: The food tastes like typical Korean cuisine, which is quite standard, and there was no unpleasant odor with the pork. The seating was comfortable, each table having its own little stove. Now for the negatives: The prices are exorbitant, and the portion sizes have decreased significantly. The cost has effectively doubled, while the portion is half of what it used to be. The customer service was lacking as well; we waited a long time before anyone acknowledged us, despite being seen initially. After eventually being seated and ordering a meal for two at $75, we were told we had just two minutes to order anything additional. To make matters worse, they charge for refills on side dishes, which is quite unusual for Korean restaurants. The tip calculation is also perplexing; they added a 20-25% tip after tax on the check, which felt absurd given the lack of service. Overall, the prices gave me the impression of being in an overpriced Vegas establishment, which detracted from the experience.
Finally came here and were not disappointed. Service and food were great. Came in for a late lunch so it wasn?t crowded. Definitely will come back to try the bbq side of the menu. 100% would recommend based on this first experience
