Hakka Wok - Schaumburg

This location is clueless about IDPH digital vaccination proof. Save yourself a trip because these guys will not accept IDPH digital copy of COVID vaccination. The guy working inside told us the owner of the restaurant will not accept digital copy ofthe vaccination. Though the memo he has on his door clearly says digital copy is also accepted but this owner has his own rulesset. I will report them to consumer department for misusing the health laws mandated by IDPH.

The place doesn't look very good to me. There are numerous scratches on the walls, and the restroom is in poor condition. The wait times are quite lengthy. There are many more enjoyable Asian restaurants nearby.

The chicken and broccoli is my all-time favorite dish. I haven't found any other restaurant that prepares it as well as this one. Since moving to Wisconsin, I've really missed dining here. The staff is incredibly friendly too! I'm so glad to see they made it through the pandemic. I highly recommend this place!

Avoid this restaurant. They tried to charge me an $18 service fee for dining alone. The prices are outrageous—$18 for a single meal. The location is just a small strip mall with minimal seating. Please steer clear of this place.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The garlic fried rice and Manchurian noodles were delicious. I was particularly impressed by how welcoming the staff was; they even allowed my kids to enjoy their food from another restaurant. We had initially visited a nearby restaurant, but unfortunately, they weren't accommodating and wouldn't permit outside food. I'm not sure why this restaurant isn't more highly rated because the prices are reasonable, and it truly deserves to thrive.
