Village Tavern Grill - Schaumburg

Our food arrived promptly, and it was served hot and absolutely delicious. The chicken tenders are among the best I've ever tasted! Our waitress was also exceptionally friendly.

This was my first visit to the Village Tavern, and it met all my expectations. I ordered the fish fry, which came with coleslaw, fries, soup, and hush puppies. The fish is the star of the dish, and it certainly didn't disappoint. It featured thick pieces coated in a thin, crunchy breading, making it some of the best fish and chips I've had in the Chicago area. Their menu offers a good selection of similar dishes, and on my next visit for football Sunday, I plan to try their huge nachos!

Worst experience I?ve ever had at a restaurant. Everything that was brought to my table was wrong. And it took my waitress 5-10 minutes to check on us each time. We order a appetizer platter and she brought us chicken tenders and when we said we didn?torder she was like no you did order it and was fighting on taking it back. I ordered a specialty margarita and I got a regularwhich whatever I drank it, it?s a margarita either ways. Our dinners came with a soup or salad and for some reason we gotcharged for it on our bill. We also had to send back one of our dinners because it came back medium rare when we specificallyasked for medium well. The waitress did not apologize once. When we got the bill I noticed the chicken tenders were not off thebill and there was an up charge for our sides that state on the menu that come with the meal. Also a specialty margarita chargetoo. I have no problem paying for what I ordered and I?m not complaining about that but not taking off the mistake the waitressmade and expecting me to pay for those is not okay. When I mentioned our bill was wrong she got snappy with me. The service Ireceived today was horrible and really left a bad taste in my mouth about village tavern.

I visited this restaurant with a group of three to watch the NBA Finals, and we had a great time. It's a fantastic bar for enjoying drinks and quick bites while catching a game on one of the many TVs scattered around. The staff was friendly and even joined in our celebrations at the end of the night. They also have an app that lets you queue songs into the mixer, which was a lot of fun to play with. Overall, it's a really nice spot for anyone in the Schaumburg area.

I have been to the village many times. Went here on a date night because we were craving chicken tenders. For the most part our night was good however once we paid the bill not 5 minutes later our server came and kicked us out of our table. She claimed sheneeded the table however we weren't even there an hour and there was no wait when we left. It's extremely unprofessional anddown right rude to kick people out of their table just so you get more tips. I tried sending a message to the village but theyhaven't responded. I would only recommend this place if you want horrible rude waiters.
