Combo's Fish Fry - Schenectady

This restaurant in the 518 area has the best fish fry that many people are unaware of! The owners and staff are always welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is clean and they never rush customers to order. In my opinion, they are the most consistently excellent fish fry in Schenectady that I have experienced over the past two decades. The atmosphere, service, and food quality are always top-notch.

The restaurant has very inconsistent opening hours. I tried to visit three times and found it closed each time, even though the posted hours indicated it should have been open. On the fourth try, they were finally open but the service was lacking. I was not impressed and do not plan on returning.

We ordered scallops which were small (appeared to be cut in half) and unfortunately, within 3 hours, my whole family became ill.

Thank you for continuing to provide excellent service and excellent food. I enjoyed my coconut shrimp and Haddock sandwich immensely! Haven't been home in years and Combos was 1st on the list. Never disappointed! Thanks guys!
