The Scotia Diner - Schenectady

Wouldn’t seat us. So I can’t tell you about their food. Don’t take kids there apparently?

Had eggs and ham on a roll and pancakes and coffee. All very good. Waitresses were a little tired but very nice. Atmosphere was old memorabilia... All fine. Only negative was bathrooms are dirty.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere for a small town diner. The owners are awesome!And they not only have gluten free selections, they totally understand cross contamination!! Having Celiac Disease, this little gem is a very safe place for me to eat at without worry and 2nd guessing! Thank you!! ?

I rated all 5s as a diner. What anyone could reasonably expect from a local they do well. Good eats, reasonably priced, attentive service and a neighborhood diner atmosphere. Not real close to home, but my wife and I go about as frequently as our travels bring us nearby.

Diner CLOSES AT 2 PM on the dot. I would expect it to be open later but they open early for the early crowd
