Unfortunately, we booked only 1 overnight stay here. Feeling very comfortable, breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh fruit and everything you can wish for a good start in the day. Wonderful location, we will certainly come back.
Very nice hosts, spacious and clean rooms. Rich and delicious breakfast buffet with fresh fruit and self-made jams. Evening card holds what she promises. We'll definitely be back!
On Saturday evening my friend and I decided to eat on another wise, because we have always been through the small town in the northern part of the Bamberg district. so we don't know each other very much in scheßlitz and so we parked our car on the large parking lot behind the ratt house and just drove up the main road and down. along the main road there is a handful of locals who create a similar impression from the outside: ground floor kitchen in rustic environment. our choice fell from a simple background on the gasthof krapp: only here was the showroom with the menu sufficiently illuminated and so enabled us to read the food offered easily. Location/Ambiente and cleanliness as mentioned above, the hotel with connected gasthof is located on the main road in scheßlitz. it should not be a problem to find a parking space in the immediate vicinity. in the inner are two gas chambers which are separated by a thin wall of sliding wood with large windows. at the door to the main room there was a note with the words closed society because there was a family celebration. so that we could only take one place next door. the next room has about 40 seats and is designed according to the homepage in Mediterranean style. Now, what exactly is to be medium with the tiled floor is not quite obvious to us. perhaps this name comes from the use of light wood, the red curtains and chair cushions and the light green wall color. otherwise the space is very unspectacular. to the luck, the sliding wall, which appears quite thin, damped the noises from the main room sufficient so that the noises of gitarrre and akkordeon only slightly jumped over to us. the cleanliness in the next room was not challenged. we didn't pick up the toilets. three stars for the environment and four stars for cleanliness. service, when we came to the gasthof, it was already later, i.e. at 20.30 o'clock. we were at first a bit lost in the curse, as the main room was only accessible to the guests of the celebration. a service wasted over us and it took a minute until I guess I spoke to us and asked if we wanted to eat something else. we confirmed this and so she led us past the kitchen to the guest room. through a solid wooden door we entered the approximately half of the next room. the cards were handed over to us by a young man, about 18 years old. this aggravated the whole evening about friendly, friendly and fast. the drinks were rich. I drank a cola weizen 0.5l for 2,60 euro, my friend an oktopus 0.4l for 2,40 euro. Even if he is probably just one without gastronomic experience, he has made a very sympathetic impression. only the waiting period until we were able to pay, something long appeared. the candle on the table we had to glow ourselves. not further bad, but with such pettynesses it often shows how attentive the personal is. a bit disturbed us that the chefin had to join the guests in our neighbourship, and there, while we ate, loudly talked about appetit-inhibiting themes. three and a half stars for the service. menu on the map, which is unfortunately not visible on the homepage, are mainly German, petty-bourgeois dishes. a few vegetarian foods and desserts. roast chicken breast nature with curry sauce and rice, a grill plate with different medaillons and kartoffel roast, wild boar medaillon with domina sauce, fresh champignons and semmel clones and a bark fillet steak baked with semmental crooked with spicy there was no day card. the eating my friend chose the jägerschnitzel in fine champignon sauce with pommes, with a colorful salad plate for 8.50 euro, I ordered one of the house specialties: ashess scrubber grill plate with various medaillons, grill sausage, smokerspeck, sprinkled butter, young sweet, kartoffel. 50 the salate of my companion received in advance was fresh and crisp. I don't know what components he built up. he tasted so good to my friend, only in the dress she had something too much edgy. the main dishes were served within a short time, which was probably due to the fact that all the others had already eaten and the chef had to take care of our two dishes. on my teller, four pieces of meat were estimated at 50 to 60 grams. later I asked the service to be a pig, a putte, a bark and a calf medal. these were very good through the bank and beautifully juicy. they tasted that meat of good quality was processed. the disc smoked pfeife was beautiful spicy and also very tasty. the grill was tastefully good, but a pretty small piece and drink before fat. the whole meat was poured over with a kind of cream sauce. to the medaillons this was excellent, to the grill sausage and to the smoked but not. I would have liked the sose separated in a small dose so that they can dose themselves. there were added three potato roasts. these were by no means self-made and unfortunately very, very fat. also the crimped butter was not made themselves and also hard so she could not care about them. I barely touched it because I'm not a sweet friend. they were of great joy, in detail were paprika, zucchini, möhren, brokkoli, kohlrabi and brass hollow. fortunately, my friend wanted to eat my sweet food, so when I had eaten everything else, we briefly exchanged the teller and I was allowed to eat the rest of her jägerschnitzels. she was so good for good taste. the immaculate carving was somewhat too dry, but otherwise good. the pommes there was not to suspend. the sawn sauce was clearly missing from the sawn. all three and a half stars to eat. Price-quality ratio and prices for food and drinks are quite in the frame. A pity that some components, compared to meat, were partially so much off and were also partly not made themselves. three and a half stars for the price-performance ratio. overall I recommend the gasthof krapp. but if I go to eat again in scheßlitz, I would first test the other place along the main road before I return to the krapp. 3 if there is again 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it turns out again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitiw again after a kitchen trip
We always like to come to the hotel. the rooms are always very clean. delicious breakfast. the staff is very friendly and helpful. they feel like home. we can only recommend the hotel. great! fam. lubik
