Modern and clean rooms with good cleaning and tolerated outside. Breakfast had a lot of choice and was fresh and also the homemade dinner was incredibly delicious with good servings. The service was always helpful and helped with problems.

Outside hui, inside pfui. 1 star is still too much for this hotel. Arriving on a Thursday evening, you will first be plucked that you will not find the parking space the same and then have to beg for an evening bread (one served then lukewarm beer and sausage plate at Wucherpreis, according to the owner himself made sausage, over a year old, but away the of course does not have to go. The room too small, loud and warm for the price. On Friday afternoon, no one in the Gaststube (it was warm, one would like to have tasted the ice cream, which was advertised in this way, only a menu on the evening bread, there was neither a menu, nor a price indication, nor the question whether the menu is desired at all. The great self-made sausage then led to severe food poisoning on day 3. Never again! In the place there is another hotel, rather book there!

If it were possible to award 0 stars, this company would have deserved it. So I must give a star, although as a family we have had such a bad experience with the Pension Zur Krone in Martinsfeld. When we had booked our overnight stay in this guest house via a large booking portal for a family weekend, we received a few days later a call from the owner, whether we can no longer stay, so that the effort for their family business also leaves. So not enough, we received approx. 6 weeks later a call again, whether we could not postpone our booked stay because it would have another group that wanted to stay a night longer. Since our family weekend with 11 people also included other activities in the area, of course it did not. Lastly, no 14 days before our planned stay followed the cancellation of the owner, due to sudden illness of the entire staff, so that we were finally there without accommodation. It was difficult to find something else in the area during the holiday season for 11 people. Fortunately, we managed to do this and we were able to resort to a evasive accommodation in the Hessian Eichsfeld, where we were very welcoming. A note to the company: If you do not pay for short stays in your house, then give a minimum number of overnight stays on all booking portals and don't make it possible for people to book short trips with you. In the way you've been dealing with our family, you won't win any guests and advocates for your pension.

Very nice accommodation, nice rooms, very nice staff. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed. I can only recommend the pension.
