Contribuisci feedbackFirst of all: the service of the owners and staff was great, nothing to complain about that at all !Maybe it is more common in this area, but we booked a non-smoking establishment and were confronted with smoke more often than not. While opening the window and balcony door gave ample ventilation inside the room, the hallways and restaurant (most important) are drenched with smoke-odor. It seems there is very little to no ventilation, so the odor has been accumulating for years, which you can really smell !! Unfortunately, this made our visit a lot less enjoyable than the TA and booking.com ratings would suggest. Dinner was typically East-Austrian (so don't expect light salads or stuff like that), so that in combination with the atmosphere meant we spent as little time as possible in the restaurant or hallways.
Stayed in the hotel with half-board. The meals were excellent, I believe far beyond the standard of the place this size!
The Pariente restaurant, part of the Hotel complex is by far a world class high standards. Traditional dishes, with modern touch were delicious, generous and fresh! Service was professional and personal, and prices moderate. Dinner was excellent, the best after a few days in the area!
