Woody´s Die Holzkneipe - Schleiz

I would never have landed there without the Schleizer Kiesbett. But it's really impressive what's made of the different types of wood there. Used furniture and funny other things. Now I write another place... The voddys... a rustic wooden pub where the wood material plays a very important role. It is located in the industrial area of Schleizer on the left below Mc Donalds, near the highway to A9. When we came to Woodys for the first time by chance a few years ago... there were not so many wooden furniture... at the entrance there was a mobile wooden wheel and the equally mobile wooden harley, in the corner at the window invited a large leather sofa to relax. I thought the pub was funny at the time... During a new visit something had changed, in the guest room everything was different... somehow completely crazy... the old black comfortable leather sofa, wooden bike and the Harley were no longer in the same place, but stood up with other mobile unikates on an out-town gallery with seating. There a beautiful staircase leads up. On the ceiling a somewhat different lighting in the form of a wood crown light. At first we have recorded every detail in us. The furniture is completely left out of nature and were decorated by the host himself to artistic furniture, barcodes and tables. None of these parts resembles the other is a unique yet it somehow fits into this crazy place. In a table a huge wooden sword is inserted as if it had ever been pushed into the table when the Woddy left... A side room with a large canvas and an even larger table is ideal for a whole visitor's sea for celebration or public viewing. Walls and ceilings are decorated in this room with posters. Many crazy images can also be admired in the entrance area. The next tree trunks are already on the plot between road and beer garden. Trees, Debark, saw in workable pieces, then sculpt and smooth, no matter what. Furniture, funny figures, giants or hollow spruce wood pumpkin with removable cover are available here. Everywhere you get in touch... in the parking lot it starts. In the beer garden you will meet a high long table with the matching XXL chairs.... Only the right to “small people” *lach*. However, there is a climbing aid to climb the seating surfaces. Absolute madness... I haven't seen anything like that in any other pub. We decided to eat something.... At a glance into the wood-bound menu followed the quick decision about a delicious carving with roasted smoked bacon for me and for my Schnegge Schnitzel Holstein with crispy mirror egg and the same delicious roasted potatoes. For thirty two wheels. The whole situation is to say and write only about 16 euros... It really tasted crazy good and was really much.... the stupid thing was when I had the last roast potato crumb in my mouth... a lot of me suddenly, I would have photographed this delicious meal... but for excuse I belonged... the HUNGER was really bigger.
