Konditorei-Cafe Mesner - Schliersee

Lovely traditional Bavarian cafe bakery, and chocolatier. By the lake with a garden setting, or inside if it's cold. Good coffee and food. Great service.

Daily we pass by this Cafe before we continue our day tour of Schliersee area. Just to stover for a cup of coffee.

I headed to the tables in the outdoor garden with beautiful plants & a view to the Schliersee before ordering.Service was very good & the Kasekuchen had the lightest delicate flavour & thinnest base making it the best I have eaten in a long while. The latte macchiato was reasonable...never seen to be strong enough for my palate.I will be back when next in Schliersee.

This is a traditional Bavarian "Konditorei" - that is a cake bakery. They offer a wide range of cakes that you can choose in the store at the front (or buy some for takeaway). In summer they have many tables outside, behind the building, under the trees. It is really nice. Besides,and this is a real feature, a garden with a playground for kids. So if you have kids and would like to eat your cake and drink your coffee in peace - that's the place to go! Coffee could be better, but the teas are very good.

During our 2-week vacation in Schliersee we patronised this cafe several times for coffee and the cakes (they do have a wide variety to choose from). We love sitting outside to enjoy the greenery and the cool breeze.
