Hot Wok Chinese Express - SCHOFIELD

I was thrilled to see that despite the pandemic, this restaurant maintained the same high quality that I have always enjoyed. I ordered the chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and crab Rangoons and they were all made with excellent quality ingredients. I highly recommend dining here as you will not be disappointed.

The building may not be attractive, but the food is always fresh and delicious. They always prepare your order right before serving. I suggest using the BeyondMenu app to order ahead and utilize the drive-thru for a convenient experience (you can pay either before or at the window).

Hotwok is the best Chinese food place in Wausau. It was my favorite since I was a little girl! I had her number since I was 10, only so I could order the delivery for myself if I had additional money, lol. I still eat here all these years later. Now I have introduced my own son into hot food and he's just as big as me!

My husband ordered the Kung Pow Chicken, which was well seasoned, while I had the Cashew Chicken. We also enjoyed two egg rolls, which were delicious. We frequent Madison and often visit the Happy Wok there, and this place is very comparable. The food was prepared quickly, ready for takeout in just 5 to 8 minutes. The meal came with two limes and cost less than $20, including a $2 tip. It was fast, hot, and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning to eat here again!

Have been ordering from Hot Wok for years now and they never disappointed me. Food are preferred very fast and prices are reasonable. I love that the menu has a big variety.
