Hungry Moose - SCHREIBER

I always make a point to stop in for a breakfast and supper when I'm back home visiting family and friends. You always get great food, service and you will never leave that place hungry!!

I just read through the other reviews and they are all so true! Large portion sizes, beyond delicious food, to die for coffee, homey atmosphere, friendly staff and friendly regular coffee crew. It is such a warm, welcoming place for all ages. I am Chris and Judy's daughter in law and honestly reading these reviews made me smile because I know all the effort and hard work they put into this business daily.

We were driving from London ON to Chilliwack BC and saw the sign on the side of the road advertising the Hungry Moose. We stopped in and we were very glad we did. An eclectic place and a great experience where the locals will pour you coffee. The owner and his side kick provided excellent service and a fabulous breakfast. If I was ever in the area again I wouldn't hesitate stopping in. If you are looking for silver service dining this is not the place to stop but if you are looking for great food and an unforgettable experience then this is the place for you.

We just spent dinner together with our skating club at the Hungry Moose. The staff were attentive and quick. The meals were delicious. We took over the whole restaurant and the skaters had a blast. They even played a loud game of 'open the gift ' with oven mitts on. Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to experience your home cooked meals. If you are extra hungry I would suggest you order the panzerotti, it is a meal for two at least. Thanks Chris and Judy and the rest of your staff for having us. #fwfsc

Had a fabulous breakfast here this morning. Great service with fresh and tasty food (homemade bread was wonderful). Super value. Stop in for a bite!
