Eckers is a small friendly cafe bar in the centre of the old walled part of town. A few local beers, some fresh asparagus soup and a pork cordon bleu that was so big! All very tasty and finished with a schnapps. All for 20 Euro. It’s nothing fancy but welcome and enjoyable, will happily go back!
The place was cosy, the prices was reasonable. The porsion of the dishes are very big, think twice before ordering much. We ate steak rinderlande and pizza there, both was good enough. The only problem was the language, we did not know any german while they did not know any english. We communicated by the help of other customers.
I came to lunch with friends. I had the cordon bleu. it tasted great. there was no waiting time to get a table. the service was quite fast. typical Bavarian.
