Landhaus Thea

Since we are not so often in this area, we only eat sporadic in this restaurant. Christmas 2013 again. After the last meal in the farmhouse Thea Sylter weeks 2012) had not convinced me, my expectations were rather dampened. Parking is possible on the large parking lot belonging to the restaurant. Thea country house was very well visited, almost all tables were occupied. The restaurant was pleasantly decorated with Christmas. The tables were covered with a red band and small gestures with Christmas stars. Various menus were offered, we chose the following 5 course menu: Fish Terrine parsley root soup Mixed salad plate with Waldorf salad Gedünsteter salmon on Rieslingsauce Dessert 2 christian ice cream varieties on fruit mus After an aperitif and not too long waiting period the first course was already on. The whole menu was served at very pleasant intervals by the friendly waitresses, there was not too long a break between the courses. Given the fully occupied restaurant, this is really a performance. All 5 courses were very good without restriction. The dishes were handcrafted perfectly prepared and tastefully harmoniously matched, the salmon was cooked to the point, tender and juicy. There was nothing to expose on this menu. I felt the price/performance ratio was just under EUR 52 as appropriate. In this performance, I would recommend the restaurant at any time.
