Very nice hotel with exciting history... after renovation probably one of the most beautiful hotels in the whole region. On the axis of view is the castle Schwarzburg... great area.
Is unfortunately mausedod. It won't be. actually a nice, quiet, big, old hotel probably had a lot of flair and surroundings
NOT RECOMMENDATIONS! THE RECENSION REFERRED TO IN THE TIME, REVOR Easter, 20.04.2019 Unfortunately you have to forgive a star to write a review, but this is not justified. A very marode hotel with the charm of Kaiser Wilhelm's times. This hotel has its best time behind it. The reception was friendly, but undercooled. Bad television reception is still the least lack. A lamp in the forefloor, no ceiling lamp in the room. The carpet is dirty, partly detached, pierced and bugged. The bedding is sadly clean and the slats are partly broken in some beds. The old mattresses made of foam have been laid, worn and held together at breaks with adhesive tape. The windows are dirty in the corners, do not close properly and are suspended with spun weaving in the upper areas. The rooms have been equipped with uncomfortable furniture, without refrigerator or safe, and in this disoat state have definitely been too expensive. The sanitation was moderately clean, much too small and without hair. ATTENTION ASTHMATIKER: Black mold sits in the lower corners of the showers. Fire protection devices according to the latest regulation were not available in the rooms and corridors. The dining room radiated the socialist charm of the Honecker era and had partly slotted and uncomfortable seating. There was no menu and there was apparently no regular restaurant business. That alone brought the drinks took half an hour from order. The staff was striving, however unplanned, slow and strenuous friendly. Breakfast in buffet form had been fine, but not particularly high quality. There were no freshly pressed juices, but came from the Tetra pack. The coffee was thin, lukewarm and was served in delicious thermospots. Our conclusion: A FDGB home would probably have been more cozy. We had at the Weißen Hirsch in Schwarzburg, from 20.04.-21.04. Checked in 2019. As a result, the above-mentioned assessment had never been a fake review. The answer of the host (which was unfortunately erased by him in the meantime to my previous review was the abyss of a dying swan. He ignored the condition of his hotel as well as the bad reviews on various other platforms. Through my review, he felt that he threatened me by e-mail with a lawyer, I would not withdraw my review. Through an open e-mail from me to him, I wanted to open his eyes on the disointed state of his hotel. In this mail I gave up all the serious deficiencies of his house and also drew attention to his lustless staff. But apparently he still ignored everything at that time. Instead, he tried to get rid of everything with lapidar statements in order to better close his eyes to reality. (The statements were unfortunately also deleted by him! UPDATE VOM 22.04.2022: On the way home from vacation I noticed that the hotel is permanently closed and slowly falls to a Lost Place. It is a historical building in which the Treaty to the Weimar Republic was signed. I hope it will be saved!
This beautiful hotel is probably just restored and is therefore actually temporarily closed. I look forward to an early reopening, hoping to enjoy a well-maintained black beer in the panoramic restaurant or on the sun terrace with a dream view to the Schwarzatal or the imposing castle complex.
