Stage House Tavern - Scotch Plains

I celebrated my birthday yesterday with just my husband. We sat outside on the front street since the terrace was fully booked. Our server, Alexis, was incredibly sweet. We ordered the clam shells, which were divine, and tried some bar pies that were also delicious. We've been coming here for years, and we've always enjoyed a great meal, attentive service, and a classic atmosphere.

The food was delicious and served in generous portions. The waitstaff attending to our group was outstanding. Even with a large Rotary Club group in the next room, we never had to wait for our food or coffee.

I am very excited with this restaurant... the menu reflects what people want today, good, fresh, healthy food with many choices in vegan and vegetarian options... I had the veggie sandwich that was delish...and they have the best frits around...

The food is always great!! The staff is wonderful! Our waiter, Patrick, went upstairs and beyond for my birthday dinner!! Love the live bands on Saturday night! This is our place if we have the chance to get out!

Fantastic venue! The food is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and the drinks are excellent. I highly recommend it!
