Lovely restaurant. Friendly, attentive staff. Excellent varied menu catering well for vegetarians too. Relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Amazing little place. From the moment we first spoke (in the summer! through to Christmas Day the owner couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. Christmas Dinner was excellent but what made it was the service from Hazel and the rest of the fabulous staff. And the private dining experience… wow! The space is amazing and so homely. It was exactly what we needed space for children to run around while not annoying others plus comfy chairs and dining area. They left lovely gifts for the children and a welcome drink for the adults was also included. The price was very reasonable for all that was offered. I can’t recommend the private dining space enough! From start to finish we loved it. Thank you x

We stayed two times in the summer of 2021 and were very happy on both occasions. The staff and owner are all very nice, professional and friendly. The menu is simple and delicious and the rooms were clean and comfortable. On the second trip in August we were able to enjoy the surroundings with a very nice walk in the hills above Morebattle. A delightful corner of the Scottish Borders.

A lovely hotel in a wonderful situation. Stayed here on our St Cuthbert's Walk. Some great touches like providing slippers for feet that need a rest from boots ! lovely room with great amenities. Beautiful beer garden with best view ever while drinking a pint. Good standard of food in a newly furbished restaurant. excellent service

Great room, nice meal (don't be put 9ff by the blg room. Nice little residents lounge. Very safe. Fab service. Would definitely go back and recommend. Did 6 mile along the St Cuthberts Way. Would recommend.
