The Pyet Deli - Scottish Borders

During our stay at a cottage, we dined at this restaurant and enjoyed delicious pizzas and the best chips. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and rustic.

During our family holiday at a cottage in West Linton, we had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and were thoroughly impressed by the food and service. Despite its small exterior, the interior boasts a beautiful large dining room with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was outstanding - we started with Scottish Nachos which were a must-try and absolutely delicious. Our main courses included two homemade steak and haggis pies with triple cooked chips, a pizza with a fantastic stuffed crust that was deemed the best ever by my eldest, and a juicy steak burger with pulled pork that was so big I doubted my youngest could finish it - but he did! We were so full that we could only manage to share a Wispa Gold Cheesecake for dessert, which was absolutely yum. The prices were excellent for such great food, and the service was welcoming and friendly. If this restaurant wasn't 300 miles away, we would definitely be regular customers. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be returning.
