Everything I have ever eaten from Casa Nostra has been delicious! We've gotten take out a few times since they have opened the Scotts Valley location and it's been reliably tasty. Tonight, hubs and I dined in at Casa Nostra and everything we ate was scrumptious- appetizers, main courses and, OMG, the desserts! Service was pleasant, attentive and relaxed, too. We are so happy Casa Nostra came to town!
The freshest Italian food I've had in years tasted like it was made from a family recipe! Food was served piping hot and the dishes we ordered lasted us for multiple meals. Fresh bread and olive oil/vinaigrette for dipping, too. Can't wait to come back!
Loved the Ravioli Del Bosco. It was not too rich. Next day went by on our way home and got take out. I would love the recipe as we live 300 miles away!
Saturday night we started looking for a place to have dinner. With no reservations, we seemed doomed to a 60-minute wait everywhere. So we decided to try Casa Nostra in Scotts Valley for the first time. At 8:00 pm we were seated right away in their comfortable outdoor area (with plenty of heaters). We had a lovely surprise ahead. The wait staff was friendly and professional. But the food was the star of the show. I had lasagna, made with a rich Bolognese sauce using both beef and pork. Delicious! It was real homemade Italian. To go with it I ordered kale with olive oil, garlic, and lemon. It was tender and flavorful, actually the best I ever ate. The house wine was a mellow red, very pleasant. I'll be back for more. Scotts Valley now has a good place to go for dinner: informal, relaxed, and delicious. As people get to know it, it is sure to become a neighborhood favorite.
