Bread Basket - Scottsdale

Best fresh organic bread. Can't wait for the next shopping trip. CARROT cake tastes distinguished from all I've had by the freshness of the carrots.

Enjoyed a simple breakfast. Also purchased two bags of their Original granola. The granola was very good. Coffee was a little weak. Server was pleasant.

Reviewed at 3:40 PM (twenty minutes before closing). The owner had to fire up the grill again, as he mentioned he had just turned it off. If you plan to close early, you might as well update your hours. This meant I had to wait a bit longer for my grilled sandwiches while the grill heated up. I ordered a turkey sandwich with cranberry cream cheese, and it was very tasty. My wife wasn’t too impressed with her sandwich, but she felt it wasn’t entirely her fault either. However, she did enjoy the banana-nut bread I picked for dessert. All in all, I wouldn’t make a special trip (as we are in Northern Phoenix), but I would stop by if I was in the area. Next time, I’d aim to arrive earlier to see a better selection of bread available for sale, but I suppose that’s on me for arriving closer to closing time.

My husband brought me food from this restaurant this afternoon, and I have to say, it was the best tuna sandwich I've ever had! I highly recommend it! I'm even planning to get it again for lunch tomorrow. Along with my sandwich, he also ordered me a salad topped with tuna.

I highly recommend this restaurant for several reasons. First and foremost, the food is exceptional. They use high-quality, healthy ingredients, and everything is prepared fresh on-site. Secondly, there's a wonderful selection of bread and pastries. They offer just the right variety without overwhelming you with choices. Lastly, I truly appreciate the staff. They provide authentic service without any forced smiles or pretense. I absolutely love this place!
