You want to go authentic Italian in AZ to Defalco's! If you go, you will be met with the authentic Italian smells of Italy. Their dishes are a mixture of the old school and the new school Italian and you can say their recipes were distributed for generations. Your staff is super friendly and treats you like family. Defalco' was also on the DDD of the Food Network, so you know they're throwing out some amazing food! The food is phenomenal. You really can't go wrong with something on their menu especially when it's their sausage made in the house. Here is what I recommend when you go to Defalco's: Meatball Hot Sandwich: Comes with home made meatball, with melted cheese on a lower roll. You get the soft chewiness of the sub-roll then home made Marinara sauce with the perfectly boiled, delicate, juicy meatball, then the beautiful creamy melted cheese. Best Meatball Sandwich I ever had. Italian sausage with pepper and onions: made with homemade sausage, red and green paprika, onions and melted cheese on a lower roll. Another great sandwich on DDD (Diners, Drivins and Dives). From the first bite you get the soft chewiness of the sub-roll then the snapping of the sausage casein loaded with spices, then the hit of the sauteed paprika and onions, then on the rear end you get the amazing taste of the house made tomato sauce and melted cheese. Precisely on the mouth **** to the taste buds! My favorite sandwich Chicken Parmigiana: Made light fried and baked chicken with melted mozzarella with homemade sauce on a lower roll. Best sandwich in the menu! Once again directly from the bat you get the soft chewiness of the sub-roll, then you get the beautiful delicate, juicy white meat chicken with the light crug from the baked crust of the chicken. As soon as you come past this joyfulness, you will then be hit with the amazing house made tomato sauce and the melted mozz! I'm telling you, it must be a must! If you get a great pizza, you have to go with the Chicken Pesto Pizza: The pizza is grilled chicken, pesto sauce, cheese, fresh tomatoes, then I added sausages and ricotta cheese. The pizza crust is perfectly cooked. Not to crunch, but soft, chew, pull the size apart. Your first bite will get you this delicious crust, meet with the amazing pesto and fresh tomatoes, next to the juicy tenderness of the chicken and the spices of the sausage, then you will get the beautiful cream of the ricotta cheese on the back. We're out of town and this was our first time to DeFalcos... The food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly... If you're looking for a place that has atmosphere, it's probably not the place for you... but if you're a food, that's absolutely the place for you... All we tried was excellent... Our party ordered 2 pizzas, 1 calzone, 3 salads and Ruben sandwich. Portions are enormous and the taste is from the charts... 2 people in our group got a piece of carrot cake and some cannoli to take home both were absolutely delicious... If we're back in Scottsdale, we're back at DeFalco's!

I was in Alabama for two years and don't wait to come to DeFalcos. Best Italian cuisine EVER. I wish I could grab the whole place and take it. Make sure you try the eggplant Parm Sandwich and the Canoli....it's the best. Always good, not to please.

That's the best Italian food I ever had! It was full of taste, the portions were huge, and the staff was friendly.

We love the food there! When we go to Scottsdale we always go here. From the home brewed flavored teas to the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo to the Tiramisu. Their food is delicious and made fresh. I love the little store inside. Too many goodies to choose from. If your Italian and miss back east (Im from Chicago) this is the place to go to get that homey feeling and food. The deli has all your favorites! Take home some Italian cookies too! This place has A LOT to choose from!
