Derby Public House - Scottsdale

Derby has a great staff and it is a funny chill spot to hang with friends.

Great experience coming on a Saturday night for my friend's bachelorette party. Anthony was so sweet and hooked it up with a table and drinks for our party all night. Music was bumping and DJ was good. I don't think it was as packed as some of the other surrounding bars but we still had a great time and didn't feel claustrophobic with all the crowds. I do wish the women's bathroom was larger, the security was really aggro about not letting any women use the men's bathroom lol. If you like a divey feel this is a great spot to come to!

Bevvy is definitely that dive bar spot with the DJ to get your dancing on if you want. They have arcade like games and depending on the DJ, you might get some dancing in. The drinks are not over priced like other spots in Old Town The bartenders are nice and even if you're the designated driver like myself, they'll gladly come by and refill your cup of water without you having to ask for it. My friend is a drinker and he was pleasantly pleased that the drinks and prices of those drinks were on point.

I stopped by Bevvy for a late lunch around 2:30pm on a Tuesday. It was one of the few restaurants by my hotel that was open and serving food at the time. I snagged a seat at the bar with a few coworkers. Customer service was great. Our bartender was attentive and friendly. Although she made drinks at the quickness, the kitchen's service was super slow. This was disappointing since there were only like 8 people in the entire place, and we were the only party ordering food. Not that hard to make quesadillas and tacos. I had a piece of the quesadilla appetizer, which was meh. It was barely warm, and I found that the cheese wasn't melted all the way through. I got the Bang Bang taco per recommendation from our bartender, which was a much better snack. The shrimp was nicely breaded and crispy, and I appreciated the flavor of the sauces.
