This was by far the worst experience we have had in Scottsdale. Our waitress was friendly, but overworked and unable to handle her tables effectively. There was a young blonde woman assisting our waitress with an incredibly unpleasant attitude. Despite our requests, we could not get a heater turned on at our patio table. Our meals took a long time to arrive, with my husband waiting even longer for his fish and chips dish. Unfortunately, the fish was undercooked and the coating was soggy, making it inedible. The only highlight was the hot cookie with ice cream that was brought out for our guests celebrating a birthday. Overall, this restaurant was a disappointment and we will not be returning. Just terrible.
We enjoyed great food in a relaxed environment. Usually to get the quality of food we enjoyed, you would expect a stuffy, measured environment. The environment is open to air when possible although it doesn’t feel like outdoors. You’ve go to try it!
Our server was excellent, but the table was wobbly. It took 30 minutes for our appetizer to come out. I ordered my prime rib medium well and my husband ordered medium rare, but both came out rare. The sides were supposed to be potato and broccoli, but the broccoli never came. Our dessert, the apple crumble, was unexpectedly spicy and made our mouths and lips tingle, so we couldn't finish it. When I informed the server about the issue with my food, they responded by saying that they had received complaints from 5 other tables about the kitchen that night. The drinks were good, but overall, we would not return despite wanting to give the place another chance.
The waiter was totally inexperienced and untrained.
