Grassroots Kitchen Tap Scottsdale

The menu is filled with old school offerings that would be hard to find all in one place and what makes this home cooking vibe great is that the food is great really delicious and every dish beautifully seasoned with depth and freshness. Love sitting at the bar for dinner for the tiny entertainment value.

Last night, I went to Grassroots Kitchen Tap. It was excellent! We had the pork belly with the cheddar grits and jam to start. Ridiculously good. I had the smoked salmon salad as my entree. My sweetheart had the ribs and slaw. One of the best meals for the money I've had in over a month. It's a casual fun vibe. We'll definitely be back soon!

Met a very picky friend for her birthday dinner. Even SHE enjoyed her meal (it's our go-to for picky friends). Yummy birthday brownie dessert was fabulous, too. It just got awkward asking to split bill. There was a huge difference in price for the two of us and I had to ask it to be redone. If it was close, I'd understand and be ok splitting it, but it was a $20 difference and I felt uncomfortable asking....

We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter's 23rd Birthday!! The food and the service were excellent!! All topped off with a beautiful slice of Key Lime Pie for the Birthday Girl!! Thank you Grass Roots!!

We were visiting with friends during Restaurant Week. It was a hot evening but we were very comfortable on the patio. The menu available to us was excellent and food quality was great. The 4 of us tested all 3 entrees. Shrimp Grits was OK but they loved the Tuna appetizer. The short rib was so tender and flavorful. The highlight was the ribs which were a huge platter, very tender and flavorful. We ended up adding an order of french fries which were a huge hit true shoe strings. We can't wait to return and try more on the regular menu. It looked like there were a lot of great vegetarian options.
