Although it's a large establishment, we ended up seated near a loud group. The food was enjoyable, but the portions were a bit on the small side. I tried the Chile Relleno, which was excellent.
I was in town to visit my family, and we wanted to try another Mexican restaurant in Cavecreek, but it was closed so we decided to try this place instead. My brother and I both ordered the Carnitas Chili Relleno. It was one of the best I ever had. They were kind of stingy with the chips and salsa, but they're good. I'll be back.
Had the chicken mol, great taste and heat. Guacamole table page. The wife said the Enchiladas and the Margaritas were delicious. Live music! Age appropriate. At least for us Boomer.
Good dinner in North Scotsdale. I am surprised by the negative reviews and will simply try to tell you what our experience was. We came on a busy Friday night because we wanted to target. We got our name on the list and then used half an hour or so we would definitely have waited for target. When we came back to the restaurant, the young lady who was host welcomed us with name, and our table was ready immediately. I was worried that live music might be too loud, but that wasn't a problem. I had the seafood enchilada, which is criticized in a previous review. The dish had a wonderful seafood taste. The sauce supplemented the court. Now I have to show that I am used to excellent fresh seafood. I raise Dungeness Crab and oysters from my own beach and occasionally even catch a salmon, and eat them if they are less than a day out of the water. So I confess to be a little seafood snob. This court did not rise to the level of the best ever, but I admire the attempt and the result was very good. My friends had Fajitas and both enjoyed them. (Actualization, so I've been eating leftovers for a few days! The restaurant seems to be family business. And everyone I came into contact with seemed to have a personal interest in our good experience. Even the eleven or twelve years old, probably earning his college funds fill water glasses and collecting tables, was a magnificent ambassador for the place. A negative, though a very small one. For those of us accustomed, spicy Mexican farewell, the food was a little under seasoned. So if you are a pepper to the point of healing both your hair and your toes person, you might ask that they kick the wort a bit. But it is definitely a place that uses high-quality fresh ingredients and does not see any reason to exaggerate their fresh natural taste with too much spice. Since I live near this place where I return. I'll order the Veggie Fajitas next time. I have to think about the waist!!
Love it!!!!! I'm not sure where these two horrible reviews came from, because this place is great! The food is top notch and authentic and the management is always on top. You need to try the Fajita's and get a flight from Tequila. The chips and salsa are great and if you ask them for the spicy salsa, they will bring it for you. You have a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the Boulders. I was a few times in the night and I'm full of energy.
