Olive Ivy Marketplace - Scottsdale

We had an amazing waiter named Evan who went above and beyond to ensure we always had plenty of pesto and bread. We were celebrating my graduation from a program, and he was incredibly thoughtful, bringing out a delicious butter cake adorned with "Congratulations" written in chocolate on the plate. I was thrilled to share it with everyone at my table. It was truly a unique experience, and Evan made it even more special. I highly recommend this place!

Went here for my birthday, and it was the worst birthday dinner ever! I was super excited to go, but the experience was disappointing to say the least. The food was bad and the server was very rude. First of all, all the drinks that we had were very mediocre and nothing special for $16 per drink. The calamari and shrimp appetizer we was 80% zucchini and extra breading, and there were at most 2-3 shrimp. Appetizers took 25 minutes and the drinks took 15, and we put in the orders together. We then had to ask the server for the complimentary bread that was supposed to be brought when sat down- we got it after our appetizers were all finished! We then waited another 40 minutes for our entrees which came out 10 minutes apart and everything was cold. After that the server never came back to check in on us and we just had to eat everything. She did not say a single word when dropping off the food or the check. Completely unacceptable to have such terrible service and the overall experience was terrible. Didn't even offer us a dessert menu or cared that we were celebrating a birthday. Would not recommend and would not come back again!

Amazing service, great food. Need I say more? 10/10 would recommend. Edit: they gave me a free cheese cake for my birthday! This place definitely goes on my “come back to” list.
