Pinnacle Grille - Scottsdale

Food was ok. Ahi tuna was not blackened as described but in some kind of spicy sauce. Caesar's Salad a bit soggy. Waiter asked if we wanted garlic bread with the chicken parmigiana but did not tell us that was an extra charge. Very pricey for just an average meal.

We love this restaurant and been going there many years. They have a broad and varied menu. Some menu items are seasonal so not always available. Their scollops are wonderful, liver and onions the best I've had, seared ahi is fantastic with perfect spicing, burgers perfect, Chopped steak just great, always a special soup, vegetables and sides are always great. bar is really comfortable and bartenders know what they are doing. NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL THERE, EVER!

This is a tale of two experiences. We visited the Pinnacle Grille twice during our recent stay in Scottsdale: once on a Tuesday night the other on a Friday night. The food was very good both times, but from a service standpoint, it was noticeably better on Tuesday evening. Lesson learned.

Our server was funny and nice. Never came back to the table to check if everything was ok. The clam chowder was thin and not very good. The chili was not good and neither was the chopped steak.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Hostess and wait staff all accommodated our requests. Food was excellent. Margarita was just average, but peach ice tea was flavorful and very good. We'll be back.
