Sakana Sushi Grill - Scottsdale

I was waiting to be served and watched the sushi chefs preparing the meals. not at all clean....they did not seem professional at all.... again not clean....do yourself a favor...go somewhere else. I am very experienced in quality sushi.

Very fresh, fantastic flavor, fish. More than generous, portions. Fast, friendly service. Simple ordering process. Excellent value. Easy adjacent parking. Will become one of my top 3 restaurants here in Phoenix.

A plastic piece came out of my wife’s ramen noodle soup, which she almost swallowed. When we mentioned it, an employee CLEARLY told us that they would take the ramen off of the bill. And then later the manager completely denied such thing being said. I would’ve appreciated the honesty if manager would at least acknowledge what was said and maybe communicated that they could not really do that and perhaps something else could be offered. But NO. Like we don’t know what we heard. We’re never coming to this place again. On top of that, the sashimi salad I ordered was not fresh, and I am not feeling well now. DO NOT COME HERE!

Super recommended for those who like to taste fresh and delicious sushi, the service is very pleasant, the chef has years of experience serving customers, and an expert in recommendations (for those who are going for the first time, like me hehehe) aaah and Don't forget to ask about the daily specials..?

Have seen this place as I drive by and decided to try it. Cozy, friendly and the best food! I had the baked salmon roll and caterpillar roll both were amazing.
