Soul Kitchen Bbq - SE

We had Soul Kitchen cater a party for about 30-35 people. The food was ready for pickup on the agreed upon time, and was packaged very well so there was no mess in the transportation. They were able to set us up with warming trays, and gave very detailed instructions on how to set everything up. The food was absolutely incredible, and everyone at the party was very impressed. I am used to the quality of BBQ from the truck, and this matches that. For 30 people we ordered 10lbs pulled pork, 10lbs brisket, 3 St. Louis ribs, Mac and cheese, and coleslaw. It was plenty of food and we even have leftovers to enjoy! Highly recommend getting catering from the fellas at soul kitchen. Can't wait for my next party to do it all again.

Very much appreciate it that you guys are staying open during this time of Covid. Ordered the brisket, chicken and ribs for the family, and it was delicious as always. Absolutely delicious. And David was a delight to work with. He sent me a sample menu and off we went! For a party of 10 we ordered: 3 lb smoked brisket, 3 lb pulled pork, 2 large Jambalaya with rice, warm potato salad, collard greens, pecan sweet potato casserole, onion buns and a peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Included are special sauce, onions and pickles. Everything was superb. We're still talking about it. The brisket was the best anyone has ever had. The pulled pork was tender, tasty and moist. The home made sauces were delicious and added another depth of flavor to the brisket, pulled pork and collard greens. I am sure the ice cream is home made. One taste made us swoon. Generous portions that were enough for leftovers. They were even better that next day. You can't go wrong and the price is reasonable. Thanks David!

I hired David this past Sunday for a staff bbq and he was a hit. The food was hot and delicious and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. The peach cobbler was crazy good. David, if you're reading this, please share your recipe!!

Got the pulled pork slop bucket. Don't be deceived by the name cos it was awesome. Very tasty and great bbq sauce. Very quick service also.
