Last time I went to szechuan tokio, I saw that there were only 4 meat-free options. eating is okay, but it is lacking in realistic texture and the taste is strong on the sauces I find to be a little sweet. it's been a past since I left so you should arrange yourself and try. they notice the effort and although eating was in order, I only give 2.
The menu online has a vegetarian option and it does not go through its end. we got delivery and it came as real chicken call ahead and specify vegetarians and they will
I was thrilled to see that this restaurant had a vegetarian section on its menu. When I placed my order online, I have specified that everything that is necessary to be vegan, and I explained that it meant no eggs, chicken broth, oyster sauce or other animal products. To her credit, the restaurant called me on the phone and told me that some of her vegetarian dishes actually contain oyster sauce. I told them that oyster sauce is not vegan or vegetarian. They claimed oysters were vegetarian because they came from the sea. They're not from the country, like chickens. But they said they could make my order without oyster sauce if I wanted, so I said okay. When I picked up my food, they repeated that every time I want to place an order, I can only tell them I don't want oyster sauce. I said again that oyster sauce is not vegetarian, and the items on the vegetarian menu should not have oysters in them. She said that there is only one spoon or two oyster sauce in some of the “vegetarian” dishes. I am doubtful that they change the menu or change their “vegetarian” recipes because they always said it was just a tiny piece, and oysters are vegetarian. And then she tried to offer me the free crispy chow my noodles. I asked if they had eggs in them, and she said yes, eggs and flour. I told her that vegans don't eat eggs because they're an animal product. Then she asked me if vegans eat flour. I said, flour is good. Then she told me that they have gluten-free options, and I told her it was nice. The dishes we have General Tso “chickens” and “chickens” broccoli were delicious. They used two different types of faux chicken in different dishes and they were both delicious. We also ordered Avocado Sushi, which was fine, I would rather have sushi rice that is more spiced (more vinegar, sugar, salt) but it was ok. I'd order here again. I felt that although they do not understand about oysters, they are ready to adapt recipes to make the customer happy. If this restaurant was in a big city, I would push it down to 2 stars. But since they are in the suburbs and there are not many vegan options, I give them 3 stars.
When I picked up my food, they reiterated that I could always specify if I didn't want oyster sauce. I explained again that oyster sauce is not vegetarian and should not be used in vegetarian dishes. They insisted that there was only a small amount of oyster sauce in some of the "vegetarian" dishes. I doubted that they would change their menu or recipes, as they always downplayed the presence of oyster sauce and insisted it was vegetarian. They also offered me free crispy chow mein noodles, which I asked if they contained eggs. They confirmed there were eggs and flour in them, to which I explained that vegans do not consume eggs as they are an animal product. They then asked if vegan flour was acceptable, to which I replied that flour is fine. They mentioned they had gluten-free options, which was nice. The General Tso "chicken" and "chicken" broccoli dishes we ordered were delicious, using two types of faux meat that were both tasty. We also tried the avocado sushi, which was okay, though I prefer sushi rice with more seasoning. Overall, I would order from here again. Despite their confusion about vegetarian ingredients, they were willing to adapt recipes to please the customer. If this restaurant were in a big city, I would give it 2 stars, but considering the limited vegan options in the suburbs, I give them 3 stars.
