A hard don 't recommend . I 'm uncertain what Gold Star and chili have to do with this business... I am from Adams County but no longer live here. My husband and I are visiting for the holiday; we drove all day yesterday and barely ate anything and I really wanted chili. GSC wasn 't located here when I was growing up and I had never had it previously from anywhere... well, we went through the drive thru last night and there is no actual chili option on the menu. I prefaced my order with the fact that I 'd never eaten here previously and I felt like A total idiot trying to get some help when I asked about options for a bowl of chili. You can 't order just a bowl of chili from Gold Star Chili according to the menu. However, you can order an 8oz bowl of chili sauce through the attendant and they sell this for almost $6 a bowl. The bowl of chili was greasy sauce from what may have been chili... no beans, no meat, just liquid greasy sauce. At the speaker box in the drivethru, I asked if anything like onions or cheese came with it and the attendant said no ... I wish I had known that GoldStar Chili had nothing to do with legit chili, I would 've just passed on the belly ache. What the F@ ? I don 't understand how this is passed for chili and it took over 10 min to get our mediocre order at an uncrowded fast food restaurant. I definitely don 't recommend this establishment, maybe other GSC 's have actual chili; if this is the standard chili I don 't recommend any of these chains.
