Camp 18 Gift Shop - Seaside

About 30 minutes from Seaside on Sunset Highway lies Camp 18. If you’re feeling hungry and have a big appetite, this is the spot for you. The portions are generous, and you definitely shouldn’t miss out on their enormous cinnamon rolls—bring some friends to help devour it! I ordered the shredded steak quesadilla, which I shared with my sons, while my husband enjoyed a beef and cheddar melt. And, of course, we couldn’t resist getting a cinnamon roll for dessert. Even though we polished off quite a bit, we still had leftovers!

Camp 18 is a restaurant that may be a little off the beaten path, but it's definitely worth a visit! Established in the 1970s by Gordon Smith and Maurie Clark, it remains in the hands of the Smith family. This area is primarily known for its logging industry, and the restaurant pays tribute to that heritage with its design and decor. Interestingly, the wood used to construct Camp 18 was logged by Smith, who still operates a mill nearby.

Delicious food with generous portions. While the prices may seem high at first, the portion size justifies it. The ambiance is charming, featuring a log cabin style with a cozy fire and interesting photographs. Definitely a place worth visiting!

This is a family tradition. If you like cinnamon rolls, this is the place to go. They are huge and have raisins. I mean a lot like the complete plate cover. Other foods are good. Wife and I shared spinach and sausage omelet and it was very good. Every trip to the sea requires a stop in the camp 18

Love it!!!. We love camp 18! My whole family ALWAYS finds a time to stop there on our way to and from the coast. Their Pie a la mode is fabulous! My husband and I were treated like royalty recently on our way home late in the evening. We stopped in for a warm hot cocoa...ordered one to share and were given two with no extra charge!
