Great food and loved the owner and ambiance. Such a fun experience if you get to talk to the owner. Make reservations! It says it on the front door!

Out of town attending a conference in the Monterey area this weekend. Having been born and raised in German, I was looking forward to great authentic cuisine. Unfortunately, I missed the reservations only sign and was rudely met with the owner and told he couldn 't seat me in the nearly empty establishment. His loss, hope he gets all the business he needs tonight because I 'm not coming back.

Klaus and Claudia are awesome hosts! Food was wow! The schnitzel was tasty and filling... a reservation is required and a good sense of humor too! Went to Monterey car week. Great place to eat. Our group of 5 had a great meal. Parking: Great location. You can park close by even with Monterey car week chaos.
