Had one taste and it was disgustingly sweet and artificial tasting. Had to throw it away. The cashier mumbled the price as I paid but I didn't think anything of it. Looked at the price on my banking statement and it was $10.50. Do not come here.
All staff is very friendly and polite! The general environment of the establishment is also fresh and inviting :
Isaac helped me out today I was looking for protein based goodies and found them! Churros, donuts, and waffles! I decided to get them without all the toppings bc I was traveling with them but this is a great way to get my protein in while supporting seaside local businesses! I will be putting my Walden farms syrup and marshmallow spread, and some berries! The protein peanut butter smoothie and the mocha protein coffee is bomb too!! It's also so cute inside and family friendly with lots of open space!
This place was a disappointment. I was drawn in by the name. When I think healthy, I think fresh ingredients, organic, and non-processed foods. I did not see any of that behind the counter. There were a ton of kids cereals, cookies, and food flavor additives and other strange things which I think were protein powders. The menu had a lot of drinks that you would not associate with healthy such as brownie batter, sticky bun, and monster cookie. The menu does not list ingredients so I had to ask a lot of questions in regards to what was in them. It was the opposite of healthy. At this point I thought I would go with tea instead. The teas were not fresh brewed, and I was told they were pre sweetened with zero sugar. I was a little confused by her explanation. The acai also was not fresh and it was at that point I walked out. The lady working there was so nice, I felt bad, but at the same time, I was just taken away by how they were selling drinks made with cookies and cereal, and foods that are literally causing an unhealthy epidemic in our country.
This is my new spot for açaí bowl because the texture and taste is like no other. I don 't believe it 's really 'healthy ' because they use jiff or skippy pb (can 't exactly remember which one i saw on their shelf) for their protein bowls but it 's overall a better alternative to ice cream which has far worse ingredients. Plus the portions of the açaí bowls and churros is so great for the price. Definitely coming back. Everyone who works there is so kind too. Food: 8/10 Service: 10/10
