7-eleven - Seattle

No coffee! All their coffee pots are missing. I asked the clerk, and he said they don’t serve coffee here. I still have eight more hours of driving ahead of me, and now I need to find coffee elsewhere.

If I could give this place a negative rating, I certainly would. I just walked in, looked around to see if I wanted any snacks, grabbed a drink, and went to the counter to pay. There was one other customer inside and two staff members at the register. I hadn’t touched anything other than what I intended to buy. The older man at the register aggressively demanded to see what was in my bag, accusing me of theft. He claimed he does this with all customers, but this was the first time it had ever happened to me during my many visits. When I expressed my frustration, he insisted that I show him respect, completely overlooking the fact that he had disrespected me first by making such an accusation. The encounter ended with me paying for my drink while he rudely told me to leave, pointing towards the door. If this is how they treat paying customers, I can understand why some people might resort to stealing their overpriced items.

This was by far the worst 7-Eleven I've ever visited. The exterior was filthy, and upon entering, I found the counters to be dirty and shelves poorly stocked. The most unsettling part was encountering a tall, creepy man who worked there. I was relieved that my husband was waiting in the car, as the man made an inappropriate comment toward me. I can only wonder how many other women have had a similar experience. I will never return to this store again! Corporate needs to be made aware of the troubling types of people employed here.

When times are tough, this place is a great option to consider when you need a little pick-me-up, you know?
