A La Bonne Franquette - Seattle

Great food, fantastic view, skip the bread...not worth the money. Go for the specials if they are offered.

Food was excellent but took hours to finally complete Pris fixe menu of only items with very little attention from service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the ambience was perfect. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Seattle area!

All four of us ordered either the halibut special or the trout. Both were prepared perfectly and served unobtrusively. The rabbit appetizer also was noteworthy. The selection of wines was terrific and the desserts, especially the bread pudding, was the perfect culmination of a memorable dining experience. This is a great neighborhood restaurant that succeeds in serving gourmet food with no pretense. Definitely worth the trip!

As usual, A la Bonne Franquette is truly the neighborhood gem. Trout was amazing and the beet salad is to die for. Highly, highly recommend dining here with friends or a nice dinner for Mom and Dad away from the kids. Call and ask for a window seat the sunset is AMAZING! Food is always good however the rotation of the menu was not as appealing as the last time we dined here, perhaps I just miss the amazing potatoes au gratin done Julia Childs style. Wait staff has always been lovely, however I think the unexpected Seattle heat depleted our poor lad a bit. This is a must do for every Seattlite as this hidden gem is a contender amongst the beasts of Seattle.
