Altstadt Bierhalle Brathaus - Seattle

This is a fantastic German beer hall located in Pioneer Square. They have an excellent selection of draft beers, as well as bottled and canned options. You can’t go wrong with their currywurst, pomfries, and duck-fat sauerkraut—they're absolutely delicious! Enjoying a couple of half-liter Kölsch beers will definitely prepare you for whatever's next on your agenda. Oh, it’s time to head out for the Sounders match... Gute Nacht!!

Even though I live in Pennsylvania and Altstadt is located in Seattle, I can't recommend it enough. Last Sunday, my son and his new wife informed us that they were getting married on Thursday, and they had a gift card for the restaurant they planned to visit afterward. I reached out to the restaurant and heard from Megan almost right away. We were able to arrange for my husband and me to cover the rest of the bill and include a few surprises. My son and daughter-in-law were absolutely taken aback! Thank you, Megan!

The restaurant was unusually quiet for a Friday night. The food was delicious, the beer selection was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable.

Ate dinner here last night and it was wonderful! We got the jagerschnitzel, currywurst, and the brezel, all of which were delicious and came out quick! The staff was quite friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clearly well-kept. We'll be back!

Bratwurst and Stiegl Zweik, super good! Wish there was more than one sausage for the price, but the mustards are amazing, the fried are great, the ketchup reminds of tomato soup a little lol, and its really dang good! Cool vibe and good service as well.
