D’Ambrosio Gelato - Seattle

The gelato was delicious, with a variety of flavors to choose from. The Panna gelato was particularly tasty. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.

This ice cream shop is amazing, especially the coconut flavor. It's no surprise they are always busy! I highly recommend it for authentic Italian gelato.

I first ordered delivery and it was so great I had to drop by and buy togo pints another day. The pistachio and tiramisu flavors (delivery) were soft, delicious and luxurious. HOWEVER, the togo pints of Theo chocolate were hard and didn't soften at all. Instead it became crumbly and then melted strait to liquid. The lemon sorbetto had large ice chunks in it and lacked the smoothness I hoped for. Overall, it was a great the first experience and not so great the second time. For $12.50 per pint it really should be great all of the time.

Ice cream was delicious and creamy and rich they did not have all the flavors ready at the time but was still happy with the ice cream I got.

We typically make stops at Salt and Straw when in the area but decided to give this gelato shop a go. There are a couple tables for sitting down although we saw folks take orders to go as well. You can order a standard size cone and get 2 scoops (different flavors). I picked pistachio and espresso on while my husband picked the vanilla bourbon and cookies and cream. Generous scoops of smooth and creamy deliciousness stuffed into a crispy cone a perfect cap to our evening out!
