As a single woman exploring Seattle, I found a undeniable truth here: anyone with $40 to spare will find satisfaction in the entrees and appetizers at Kimchi House. This place exudes comfort, warmth, and a sense of belonging. Every bite I took transported me to the scene in Ratatouille where Anton Ego is brought to tears by the flavors of the dish. The seafood pancake and spicy chicken entree made me feel connected to the universe with each bite. The kimchi, fish cake, and radish exploded with flavor in my mouth, creating a sense of pure bliss. Dining at Kimchi House will leave you feeling grateful for every decision that has led you to this moment. In the words of Chappell Roan, I found myself knee deep in the passenger seat, savoring the leftovers on the drive home. And it was anything but casual.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! I've been searching for authentic and delicious Korean food in Seattle with little success, but this place is a definite standout. We arrived around 1:30 on a Sunday and found all the tables full, but they were clearing out slowly. The staff kindly allowed us to order ahead while we waited for a table, so the food preparation began promptly. I ordered the pork belly, which was served with a bowl of rice and various side dishes. It was a bit strange that not all the items listed on the menu were included in the banchan, but all the side dishes were tasty, with a good variety. My favorites were the fishcakes, sweet potato, and pickled radish. I especially enjoyed the perfectly grilled pork belly, which had a nice balance of fat and meat. The soy glaze complemented the meat and rice wonderfully. We were offered refills of the banchan, which was a nice touch. The service was friendly, and our food arrived quickly and was delicious. Everyone in my group loved their dishes, and I can't wait to come back and try more!
Excellent food at an incredibly fair price. This is a favorite takeout spot for me and my girlfriends
Someone picked up several plates for a picnic so all I know is what I tasted. Don't know exactly what they ordered but took some photos. We eat a lot of Korean food here in Honolulu, but I could taste a difference in this food. Don't know exactly how to describe it, but it was very good. Good enough that I asked the name of the place, took photos, and posted this review so I'll remember to go back when I'm in Seattle!
Yo. Pork belly. Win win win win win. All day win. White rice with the sides. Feels like an 120 minute movie. I don't need the series. I don't want the 90 min pop edition. I bet the book reads really well but I won't read it cuz this version had the best cast and execution. Well done. Great service. Simple ambiance. Thanks Kimchi House.
