If they have not yet discovered locus wines on the pioneer square, they are missing! an amazing pre- or post-game stop or any time if they could be in the opposite. really nice wine selection here in wa made! Chef ton has created the best nibbles and foods to have started with this glass also after work! You'll be glad you did it.
Enjoyed a delightful time outside at Locus listening to music and enjoying fantastic wine and food. Highly recommend a visit and sample the incredible menu Ton has put together to pair with their amazing wines. A real gem in Pioneer Square!!
Marvellous evening of art, wine , food and music in the heart of Pioneer Square. I started with the Equus sauv blanc (less acidic but nice funk) and then switched to the Tank 4 (refreshingly light and floral). We shared the vegetarian moussake, shrimp with polenta (OMG) and chilled pepper steak. Extraordinarily satisfying flavours and portions. The Scratch Cats jazz band were lovely, and the sound was just right, in spite of the proximity. Not sure how they accomplished that. Maybe it was the general bonhomie, but people at neighbouring tables and people walking dogs were friendly, without being intrusive. Service was impeccable. We were offered blankets when it turned cool. And when I was torn on which white to have, Tiffany brought me samples. Smashing experience. Thank you, Locus!
We arrived for our 11:30 reservation and we’re sat right away. There were two larger parties outside and two small parties in when we arrived. We ordered our drinks and tried to order from the regular menu but were told only brunch menu was available, totally fine since we just wanted to try some apps with brunch so just ordered our entrees. The server came back a minute later informing us both dishes we ordered we sold out (crab omelette and the Nutella waffle), they had just opened 30 min prior to us which seemed odd.. but again said ok and picked the avocado toast and frittata. Both dishes were disappointing unfortunately, the size of the piece of toast vs the mountain of avocado was a little much and very salty the other guest had the same comment about the frittata being salty. Disappointing 2/7 items were gone within 30 min of opening. The place is really cute and if they had the f/b it would have been a nice experience. Server was kind and apologetic but overall the experience was lacking. We picked this place based on a reel from Instagram advertising brunch, would probably be fine for a happy hour.
