Mox Boarding House - Seattle

Mox is a true gem. The staff are incredibly helpful when it comes to recommending board games, and I've purchased several based on their suggestions. They create a wonderful atmosphere where everyone can come to play and feel at home. The spacious areas they provide for board games and tabletop games are excellent. Additionally, their online Discord community is fantastic, and I've made many friends through Mox.

The best spot in Seattle for board games and craft beers. The staff are friendly and polite and the food is phenomenal.

Super dope game store, this is my favorite thing to do in seattle. The game board experts are really knowledgeable and fantastic at suggesting a new game that’s catered to your mood and group. They always introduce me to a new game and I love it every time.

A great place to come for MTG events, food and drink, or to pick up a board game. If you play MTG, I especially recommend Tuesday nights, when they do Commander free play and a Pioneer tournament. If you show up by 4:30 ish, it's normally possible to do a game of commander before the tournament at 6. The patrons and staff are friendly, and while I haven't tried the food I hear good things. While there are quite a few tables, I'd recommend arriving before 5:30 if possible as space can fill up. There is a parking lot across the street, but especially on popular evenings it is often full, so I plan on parking a couple blocks away and having time to walk.

This is one of my son's favorite place to buy card packs and other gaming gear. Great atmosphere and great staff!!! Plenty of seating and one can borrow games here to play in-house.
