As someone who has had many gyros in the past, I felt that the one I received was a bit small and just okay. The gyro meat lacked flavor, the tomato was not very fresh, and the sauce was average. It wasn't terrible, just nothing special. It could have been just an off day. The person taking our order was neither friendly nor unfriendly, and seemed distracted. They may not have spoken much English or simply did not enjoy interacting with customers. My adult children were not overly impressed with their chicken gyro either. Overall, it was a pretty average experience.
Whenever my family visits Seattle, we always make a stop at this restaurant - it's a tradition. They serve the best gyros I've ever had. My wife and I get so excited on the drive there, just thinking about it. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and when I ordered a small fry, they gave me a large one instead. Definitely recommend checking this place out - you won't be disappointed.
Delicious food. Great prices. Lamb gyro and fries for about $15 (before tip). Helpful and engaging service as well. Plus, you can order your food and then walk through the market to eat at the waterfront overlooking the sound.
Probably one of the best gyros I’ve ever had in my life.
Along the cobblestone of the famous Pike Place Market, lies an old world style eaterie with tables fence-marked on the other side of the side walk. Having come highly recommended by locals, I was not disappointed. I ordered a Greek style chicken gyro and dolmades. The sauce was perfectly balanced, the meat cooked just right and an overall wonderful taste. Highly recommend it! God bless you and yours!
